This policy explains what information Sovara Pay collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Who we are

Sovara Pay is a service of Sovara Payment Solutions, LLC ("Sovara," "we," "us"). We are a sub-ISO of First Nationwide Payments, a registered ISO of Wells Fargo Bank, N.A., Concord, CA. This policy covers sovarapay.com, sovarapay.app and any page that links to it (together, the "Site").

This policy covers information we collect through the Site. If you apply for or open a merchant account, the information in your application and your processing activity is also governed by your merchant processing agreement and by the privacy notices of our processing partners and sponsor bank.

Information we collect

Information you give us

Quote requests: your name, business name, email address, phone number, approximate monthly card sales, and anything else you choose to send.
Statements you share: if you send us a processing statement for review, the business and transaction details it contains.
Communications: what you tell us by email, phone or other channels.

Information collected automatically

Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and the date and time of your visit. Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, processes this data to deliver the Site and protect it from abuse.
Analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures visits without cookies.
Cookies: small files stored by your browser, described in the Cookies section below.

We do not ask for card numbers, bank account numbers or Social Security numbers through the Site's quote form. Please don't send them that way.

How we use information

To prepare and send the quote or statement review you asked for.
To respond to your questions and provide customer support.
To help you apply for a merchant account, if you choose to.
To send you information about our services. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us.
To operate, secure and improve the Site, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
To comply with law, card network rules and our obligations to our processing partners and sponsor bank.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share information only as needed to provide our services:

Processing partners and our sponsor bank: if you apply for a merchant account, we share your application information with First Nationwide Payments, its processors and its sponsor bank for underwriting, boarding and servicing your account.
Service providers: companies that host the Site, deliver email and help us run our business, under contracts that limit how they can use your information.
Legal and safety: when required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Sovara, our customers or others.
Business transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

Cookies

We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies to operate and secure the Site, remember your preferences, and understand how the Site is used. Cloudflare may also set strictly necessary cookies to protect the Site from bots and abuse.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the Site may not work properly.

How long we keep information

We keep quote requests and related messages for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and then for up to 24 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Information tied to a merchant account is kept as long as required by law, card network rules and our agreements with our processing partners.

How we protect information

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to the Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop sending you marketing emails. Email info@sovarapay.com and we'll respond within the time the law requires.

California residents

If the California Consumer Privacy Act applies to us, California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to request deletion or correction; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do neither); and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. You may use an authorized agent. We'll verify requests before acting on them.

Other states

Residents of other states may have similar rights under their state's law. Contact us and we'll honor the rights that apply to you.

Children

The Site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

Other websites

The Site may link to websites we don't control, such as card brands or partners. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version on this page and change the effective date above. If we make material changes, we'll give additional notice where required.
